Smart Ships Technology Demonstration Projects
Smart Ships Coalition demonstration projects showcase the capabilities and use cases of various smart and autonomous maritime technologies in real-world applications. These demonstrations help regional stakeholders test, validate, and promote the safe and effective integration of autonomous and smart maritime technologies. They are a critical bridge between research and real-world application, advancing innovation while ensuring that autonomous and remote technologies are introduced responsibly, collaboratively, and with regional benefits in mind.
Planning demonstrations is a collaborative effort between the Smart Ships Coalition, technology developers and academics, and other stakeholders including port authorities, vessel operators, and government agencies.
How to get involved with demonstrations:
Do you have a unique technology to showcase? A problem that can be addressed with smart or autonomous shipping technology? We always welcome new ideas for demonstrations from technology vendors, researchers, ports, vessel operators, and others. Please contact us at: admin@smartshipscoalition.org.
